  1. I have been spending the last month listening to all your podcasts. I am learning a lot and it is so wonderful to hear a person who has the same issues as I do. I love Trader Joes and it is near my house. Did you know they have a peanut flour. I have baked with it combining other gluten-free flours as well. As for the pooping issues, I can relate to what you mean.I had severe constipation and trapped gas that was so painful. I was the other end of the spectrum. I would be glad to have a bowel movement after 3 days. I would feel so toxic inside so that part of it was awful too. Mainly the trapped gas felt like I was in labor. After 26 years of dealing with this and switching to a gluten free diet I was so happy to eat again without having horrible trapped gas. I lived on charcoal pills to relieve my lower intestine. Had to take laxatives with lots of magnesium just to poop. It was an awful cycle and I could not figure out what foods to eat or not. I used to grind my own organic wheat berries and little did I know of eating extremely health food it what was making me so sick. I just started to believe everyone got sick after they ate food. I got fibermagelia at the age of 47 and I believe it was all the gluten I ate all those years. I went from doctor to doctor and nothing helped till I went to a homopathics doctor who said get rid of gluten. I read labels like a hawk and I really do not want to go out to eat. I do not mind making my food at home at least I know I will not get sick on it. You are opening my eyes to eat out again after you have tested restaurants out. Food has never been a big issue for me. I am just to happy to not be in pain. That outweights giving up any type of food. I have friends that say don’t you feel bad you can not eat that. My response is if you experience the pain I did you would not touch that gluten item again. The pain alone is my self control. I think if more people had the pain consequence with hidden diseases they would do anything to not be in pain. Well enough of my rambling my gluten-free friend. It is so refreshing to hear someone out there who is battling the same problem as me. Please keep up the great work and feeding us the info you know. Karen
