Does Wendy’s have gluten-free menu options? Yes. But you won’t find it on the Wendy’s website. Despite Wendy’s restaurant being very allergen-friendly (we have one near us and that’s one of my go-to fast food places), the Wendy’s website is seriously deficient in listing nutritional information and allergen information that’s easily accessible. Read on for details on Wendy’s gluten-free options and download their PDF for reference.
Any time I want to find out what’s gluten-free at a restaurant, I start with the business website. Most chain restaurants have a Nutrition and Allergen section. I was surprised that Wendy’s did not have this readily available. In order to view any allergen info, you have to click on every.single.product individually. This can give you a headache very quickly.
I called Wendy’s customer service directly via their toll-free number (888.624.8140) and spoke with Maddie. She was extremely helpful and offered to send me the nutritional and allergen information via e-mail. Check out the .PDF below for the full breakdown.

WENDY’S DOWNLOADABLE GLUTEN-FREE MENU
Click here to view Wendy’s menu. This menu may be updated at any time, so use this as a guide. Contact Wendy’s directly via customer service at 888.624.8140 or within the restaurant to double check if there is an updated version.
Tip: Increase the viewing size (via the “+” Zoom In button) in order to read the document details. The font of the .pdf was quite small for my tired eyes.
FOODS THAT MAY COME INTO CONTACT WITH GLUTEN
Menu items may be cooked in the same oil or come in contact with an item containing the allergen:
(fries are made in a dedicated fryer, however there is always a risk of cross contamination of a breaded item being put in the french fryer by mistake).
Sausage Breakfast Bowl
Bacon Breakfast Bowl
Seasoned Homestyle Potatoes
Hamburger – No Bun
Wendy’s provides a “no bun” option with the hamburger in a container. All hamburgers are 100% beef – no fillers.
Remember that you must always speak with a manager to ensure they are aware of your gluten allergy and do not just remove the bun from a pre-made hamburger.
