Whether you’ve been newly diagnosed with celiac disease, gluten intolerance, non-celiac gluten sensitivity or have been gluten-free for years (I was diagnosed in 2005), unless the restaurant is 100% gluten-free, it’s a risk every single time we dine out.
On one hand, we desperately want to enjoy a meal with our family and friends and feel “normal”. However, the risk of being glutened is real with side effects ranging from vomiting and diarrhea to bloating and brain fog. And these are just a few reactions of ingesting gluten. The list goes on and on.
